Made from scratch
The jam, the hollandaise, the pancake batter — all by hand, in our kitchen, before the sun's properly up.
We're a neighborhood brunch cafe run by people who think mornings are the best part of the day — and that breakfast deserves to be made properly, by hand, every single time.

It began with a borrowed griddle and a stubborn pancake recipe. Mara and Theo wanted a place where you could show up in slippers, order a flat white, and stay a while — no rush, no fuss. Word got around. The line out the door is still a little surprising. Seven years on, we still whisk the batter by hand, still know our regulars' orders, and still think a good morning is worth getting up for.

Eggs from Hadley Farm, beans roasted across the river, produce from the market down the road.
Pull up a chair and stay as long as you like. Refills are easy and the window seats are for lingering.
One griddle, eight stools, and a hand-painted sign. The first Saturday, we sold out of pancakes by ten.
Knocked through the wall, added the window bench, and finally got a proper coffee machine.

Same recipe, same regulars, a few more chairs. Here's to plenty more mornings.
